Actors With A Sheffield Accent Needed For Event In Sheffield - 7th November 2024
The Cradle of Fire is an event being held at a Museum celebrating the industrial heritage of Sheffield, particularly the steel industry.
I have written three short monologues for characters from a steel working family.
One is a child aged about 10, one is her mother aged about 50 and the other is her father, the steelworker aged about 50 as well.
The idea is for these to be presented against a backdrop of old photos projected onto a large screen, and the photos link with the content of each monologue. A Sheffield accent would be preferred ( e.g. Sean Bean!).
Working class clothes from the 1960’s would be suitable as costume.
