Dancers, Saxophonist, Pianist & Fire Performer Wanted For 50th Anniversary / Birthday Celebration In Gauteng, South Africa - 28^th November 2024

We are planning a celebration for 28 Nov 2024 at our premises in Meadowview.

We are kindly looking for 2 quotes on the below (250 PAX and 350 PAX respectively).

There will be a team of 4-6 individuals from Rohlig-Grindrod assisting and managing the event, so the company is looking to gain pricing for supplies and suppliers and to coordinate the event internally by our R-G committee.

It will be a 50th Anniversary/Birthday Celebration.

• Cocktail feel with guests mingling and interacting

• Live entertainment (and preferably an MC that is multifunctional) – such as sax, ballerinas, ballroom dancers, pianist, etc. We are open to 2 or 3 entertainment options for the evening and open to suggestions. Entertainers can be on the stage and perhaps move around (for the interactive feel)

• Staging, lighting and sound (might not need to be too large if no band is assigned for that evening)

• Screens and Technical

• Seating/lounges/tables/chairs/decor for sections

• Catering (canapé’s – no sit-down meal) & serving staff (Halaal, vegan, vegetarian options as well – NB: No pork)

• Backup generator (1 x 65 KVA)

• Marquee (glass/see-through in some sections)

• Pyrotechnics

• Flooring

• Health & Safety for permits for event

We want to share the story of R-G through the years and were considering dividing sections of the event/marque/tent allocated for air, road and sea respectively.
