Male Vocalist Required For Carnival Cruise Line

At the front of every Carnival band is a dynamic and talented team of a male and female vocalists. These vocal entertainers transport their audiences on a daily basis to several different musical eras ranging from the sounds of Motown to the top club hits of today and everything in between.

Vocalists are individually hired for their ensembles, they rehearse for three to six weeks in Fort Lauderdale and then join their ship for the remainder of their contract.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Front their band for an average of four hours of musical entertainment as scheduled by the ship’s management.
Deliver highest quality musical entertainment to our guests in line with Carnival’s brand and live music guidelines.
Provide musical support for variety entertainers as needed.
Actively participate in assigned activities including, but not limited to trainings, drills, safety briefings, meetings and performances.
Demonstrate commitment to Carnival Service Values.
Perform ship’s safety function, including “Port Manning”, as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Range: Mezzo-Soprano/Belter
An education that emphasizes the performance of commercial music including techniques and concepts found in modern pop and rock repertoire.
Applicable experience as a front singer for wedding, bar and function bands.
The ability to extend beyond a performer into an entertainer
Proficiency in the English language
